Design & Build

Oak Construction was established in 1980 by Mike Purnell who grew the business to be a locally respected and sought after custom home builder. Today, our family-run business continues to flourish with Mike's experience and expertise, in conjunction with his son Matt's vision and unwavering commitment to customers and quality.
We still earn our reputation every day, of being a quality-driven, hands on builder who offers each client the individual attention necessary to surpass their expectations.
Though we operate primarily in the ocean side resort towns of Lewes, Rehoboth, Dewey and Bethany, we have undertaken projects in all corners of Sussex County and southern Kent County.
